Ribbon Cutting Ceremony — May 1, 2026

Friends of Hopewell invites the community to join us for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on May 1, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at 166 Perry Drive (just past Lincoln Jr. High), Coldspring, Texas 77331. Proudly officiated by the Shepherd Chamber of Commerce, this ceremony marks a significant milestone in our mission to restore and honor African American heritage in San Jacinto County.

Guests are welcome to enjoy light refreshments and take part in a guided facility tour following the ceremony. Whether you are a longtime supporter or discovering Friends of Hopewell for the first time, this is a meaningful opportunity to connect with your community and witness the legacy of preservation in action.
